Blue & Beige || New Year Thankfulness

Well, 2015 is here and I seriously cannot express how excited I am and what is to come. 2014 was filled with lots of love, happiness, sadness, decisions and emotions. I cannot be more grateful for every single person who has impacted my life last year and continues to challenge me daily.

This year I am making more time for adventures, being present and really challenging myself with this blog. Well, with YouTube to be honest. I want to really focus on making videos that can really help and teach people different tips and tricks with beauty related topics. I believe I have a gift and with it I want to share it. Making some one feel beautiful is really what fuels my passion. With working in the wedding industry and teaching makeup, I see how many women are affected with their appearance and what they want to “change”. My heart is to show them the beauty they have and little ways to show confidence (through hair and makeup in my case) and to feel beautiful.

Thank you to all of you who have been nothing but kind and supportive to me through this journey and have never doubted me. I absolutely love what I do and am so thrilled for what 2015 has to offer.

As for todays post. Just a fun winter outfit that I put together (blue and beige, surprise, right?)  that I thought you may enjoy!

Stay warm, friends!

November Wear

It’s starting to get colder here in Canada and Christmas is less than 50 days away, can you believe it?! The Holidays are my favourite time of year, especially at Starbucks with all their yummy drinks and treats. Today’s look is a little dressy for a Friday but I still went with it! I love scarves and using them as a main accessory, such a great way to “cozy” up the outfit. All of these items are super affordable and in store still, so if you love it, grab it!

Hope you enjoyed your week and have a safe weekend.

Weekend Wear: October

Since this blog is now being focused on beauty, hair, tips, tricks and tutorials I wanted to include monthly weekend and week fashion looks. This past weekend was super chill so no dressing up here. After uploading my Fall wish list I really wanted a pair of black distressed denim jeans so I found these ones at Garage and I could honestly live in them. I highly recommend getting them in a couple sizes smaller then your regular size since they are stretchy.

What did you guys get up to this weekend?

It’s almost that time of year again! Finally getting to the end of your four year high school experience and to celebrate, you will be going to PROM! My best friend Erica helped me out with these photos since she’s absolutely beautiful. We created THREE different looks you can wear to your prom, a formal or even a banquet. From whimsical and romantic to smoldering¬†and sexy, hopefully these looks are helpful for you to decide what you want to rock.

This look is very “Old Hollywood” with a classic twist. Parting your hair to the side with soft waves really makes the look elegant. For makeup, a strong contour and red lip are the perfect combo.

Dress: MACY’s

This look is very innocent and whimsical. A loose/messy up-do is the way to go. If you want to add a little drama then put in a fun headband to amp it up. A soft bronze to the face and a pale pink lipstick will give you that youthful glow.

I love this look because it’s fun, glamourous and sexy. Tossled beach waves will give you that “I woke up like this” vibe. A soft smokey eye and a nude lip looks great against a bold red dress and gives you that Bridgette Bardot look.

On Friday November 8th, 2013 I graduated from Fanshawe College’s Fashion Merchandising program. It was so wonderful to see all my classmates and to catch up with some professors. I absolutely loved the program and it taught me so many valuable lessons. It was a wonderful two years and I’m now excited for the journey ahead of me.

Below are some pictures from the day. The most incredible part was receiving my Grandma (Dad’s side) Pecherle’s Ring. It is probably the most beautiful thing I own and I feel so blessed to be wearing something so special and close to my heart.

I hope you all enjoy the pictures!
